My family and I have been patients of Dr. Alford for about 30 years. He has always been very professional and, accurate with his diagnosis. We started 2 years ago with the concierge service and for me had been a life saving situation. I had a really bad case of diverticulitis that if it wouldn’t for Dr. Alford probably I would not be her. Thank you Dr. Alford and his staff; Roxanna and sorry I don’t remember the name of the other RN.
Place has changed in the last 10 year--no longer able to see the Dr, but a PA. They messed me up by not scheduling all the tests for my physical like glucose, cholesterol, triglycerides,--its a long story, but I'm sad. Update: Here's the full story--the office lady a week ago called me rude a week ago b/c of my complaint of why didn't they schedule for all my tests. I’ve trusted Dr. Alford for over 20 years, but the office, medical assistants, and overall experience have become so frustrating that I’ve had to leave the practice. A follow-up required by my insurance (within 6–8 weeks) took six months to schedule — then was canceled a month out and pushed to nine months after the original visit. Unless you're enrolled in their concierge service, don’t expect timely care, returned calls, or real access. The staff is often rude and dismissive. Find another doctor. If you can pay $3000 a year to be a priority patient, maybe you will get better service. Otherwise, they will run tests that they will not look at for results but send you for more tests. And you won’t hear the results on any of them. I’m in pain with no response or anything from them. I’m now drawing the conclusion that loyalty is irrelevant because they have figured out how to get their money from the insurance and pharmaceutical companies.
