I’ve trusted Dr. Alford for over 20 years, but the office, medical assistants, and overall experience have become so frustrating that I’ve had to leave the practice. A follow-up required by my insurance (within 6–8 weeks) took six months to schedule — then was canceled a month out and pushed to nine months after the original visit. Find another doctor. If you can pay $3000 a year to be a priority patient, maybe you will get better service. Otherwise, they will run tests that they will not look at for results but send you for more tests. And you won’t hear the results on any of them. I’m in pain with no response or anything from them. I’m now drawing the conclusion that loyalty is irrelevant because they have figured out how to get their money from the insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Things started off well but two of the nurses messed up my prescriptions more than 3 times. I didn't get the meds for like 9 months at that point. They are bad about calling people back and communicating with patients. Dr.Alford is nice but something is off with the staff.

I was a patient here for over 10 years, albeit a handful of those years I was overseas and didn’t make any appointments. But when I returned to the states, I still made an appt for my yearly physical. This is where the problems started. I couldn’t get an appointment for over 3 months.
