Sweetwater cabin is a great place to take the family. The cabin is the typical Forest Service style, which sleeps 6 comfortably. The trail down to the lake is an easy walk. I don't know how long it would take to row the boat, because we brought a small outboard motor instead. with that, it was a short few minute ride to the actual cabin. You *can* walk down from the road, but there is no marked trail so don't expect it to be easy. The view of the lake is amazing and the creek right next to the cabin is a perfect addition.
