My husband gives his chicken wrap a 4-star. I give my Blue Plate Special catfish, baked potato, and fried okra a 4.5 star only because they provided Walmart Great Value tartar sauce, which lessened the awesomeness of their catfish. We must have gone during the lunch hour rush because the line was long and we had to wait a little while for our food. Great portion sizes for the money. I would go back for more Blue Plate Specials.

I met my sister for a quick lunch and really liked the vibe and home cooking. It's a little hard to describe because it's a cheerful diner experience but not gritty like some are. I had a taco salad and my sister had a chicken dish. If you are downtown, it's a perfect lunch spot.

I came in for the daily special which was the roast beef. It was totally worth it and the service was good. I'll stop by again when in town.

At a conference at the convention center and needed to get lunch. Stumbled upon this little eatery. Prices were fair, food was good, service was great. They have a blue plate daily. I had a half sandwich and soup.
