Whenever my family would travel to Highlands for a hiking trip, a visit to SweeTreats was always a highlight, even in our adult years! I was looking forward to introducing my own children to this delicious ice cream and am hopeful for a new location for you in the future. Wishing you the best and I am grateful for the fun (and delicious) memories.

For 15 years visiting North Carolina we looked up ice cream near me! This is our go to when we are in the area and part of the reason we now visit!We used to go to Cashiers but have been hgoing to higlands location. Sweettreats is simply the best Ice cream! I love how the make it with the machines! We look forward to going again! Please comeback to Cashiers!

We stopped in yesterday for the first time and it is quite different from what we expected. There are only two choices of flavors; chocolate or vanilla, and a large selection of toppings that can be added which was quite good but certainly not as generous as most of the photos by other reviewers. The 6 ounce cup was exactly level with the top of the cup and not rounded as was my waffle cone. It was still an adequate amount but just not what one usually expects and certainly not what is depicted in past photos. Very refreshin... read more
