I’m giving Sweetgreen one star because I disagree with the company’s policy regarding religious attire, including allowing employees to wear hijabs. This policy does not align with my personal values, and as a consumer, I have the right to decide where I spend my money. I respect that Sweetgreen has the right to establish its own policies, just as I have the right to choose not to support a business whose policies I disagree with. For that reason, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Ingredients constantly disappoint which is so sad considering my experience at other sweet greens. Nothing tastes fresh and lettuce is often wilted or yellowed. Portions seem off from other locations too. I’ve had it happen where they barely have any left of an ingredient and they don’t go to the back to get more or give me an alternative.
