First time and even got to meet the boss Sweet T. Fully invested and great conversation. Really nice vibe and nothing like this in the area. Felt like we were eating real southern cooked food. Had the corn bread and shrimp as apps. Amazing - but the best part was fried chicken with slaw and the best Mac and cheese I may have ever had. Give it a try - worth the visit
First time at this location, usually go to Montclair. This place, food, service, and warm vibes… sooo good. If you’re looking for soul food with love this place doesn’t disappoint. Greg the server and bartender, so welcoming. Fried chicken always on point. Collard greens (better than my pass-downed recipe.) I tried the beef short rib for the first time, and it fell off the fork. Thank you Teaneck location! You just got a regular.

Food was A-MAZING! I literally have ZERO complaints! Maggie was my waitress and she did so good as well. I was greeted upon entry, seated promptly and food came out hot and GOOD! One of the owners, Dre, walked around and made sure we felt at home! 10/10 experience and such a great choice!
Gregory was our server and he was absolutely amazing. Very tenitive to our needs. Best server I’ve had in a while.
