Playhouse was great. Kids had fun. Cafe was ok. All vegan options.
Cinnamon buns, scones, and muffins are all excellent whether enjoyed in the restaurant with a beverage or taken home. I also like the soups, kale and beet salad, avocado open-face sandwich, and spinach pie. Gluten-free options are noted in the menu. I have been here many times, and imagine many more. Thanks to Sam and staff for providing a great atmosphere to enjoy great plant-based food.
Went there for the first time this week, and it was a lovely experience. The staff were so kind and the food and drinks came out very quickly after we ordered! My daughter had so much fun in the mini town! There are lots of activities for littles to do and was a great deal for only $7 a person for an hour and a half of pretend play!
My wife, son, and their friends unfortunately had to cancel their booking inside of 24 hours this morning, due to the severe weather and poor driving conditions. I was disappointed when the Sweet Pea Cafe refused to make an exception in their cancellation policy for such circumstances. Despite the clear weather and travel advisories issued, Sweet Pea Cafe offered no consideration, flexibility, or good will. I love the concept, each little centre is adorable, the staff is kind. I did hear there was new ownership, I am not sure how recent this is. I was disheartened by the lack of items to go with each centre, how many items were missing from even the baby toys. Maybe it was just spring break chaos as this was our first time here.
