PLEASE DO NOT BOOK EVER THROUGH THEM! I booked Stonefield beach house via them and they confirmed along with checkin instructions. They called me 2 hours before the Checkin time to notify me that the house was not available as some mishap has happened in the house.. Upon asking what is the mishap, no details were provided.. The woman on the call was rude and felt entitled to do this to my family last moment.. They provided me very poor and smaller house options and were not even upfront to offer the differential amounts.. th... read more
I had a very negative experience with this company. The house was fine. But I ran into a medical injury issue and they absolutely refused to allow me to try and reschedule, even with a shorter stay. I found them very difficult to deal with.
My family (8), and I stayed at the Sunset Beach house in Yachats Oregon on 8/2/25 for four days. I was disgusted when I walked in to see pet stains on the carpet in every carpeted room! Also found clomps of pet hair on the kitchen and bathroom floors in the corners. This place is a nice location and a nice house, and we put it aside and had a great family vacation.. the kids loved the game room almost as much as the beach! Please replace that disgusting carpet. And try deep cleaning the rest of the house.
This was a traumatic and life-threatening experience, and I urge others to think twice before booking with this company. While staying at a rental managed by Sweet Homes, I fell head first through a rotten wooden staircase that collapsed beneath me, left hanging by my ankle. Another guest was injured jumping to escape the fall and suffered leg and back injuries. A third person was trapped above and had to be rescued by the fire department.
