Very professional staff and very compassionate
The usual protocol for compassionate sedation given before euthanasia is a shot under the skin and waiting 10 minutes for the dog to relax and get sleepy and gives time to say goodbye to your pet. Sweet Dreams gives a intramuscular shot and 4 minutes later the dog just falls over dead. They do not use the normal less painful protocol. Therefore your pet has a brutal death.
RecommendedI cannot say enough good things about the team...from the first phone calls throughout the entire process these folks cannot be more perceptive, supportive or professional. Given the covid situation, we were at our wits end about how to help our 18 year old 6 pound cat, Miss Isabel “give it up” with dignity...when the time came, she was able to maintain her throne position in our master bedroom on her warm blanket. She had a peaceful last nap. Thank you for helping us.
They were so incredibly sweet, kind, and thoughtful. Thank you for helping us as we put our Chewy to rest. You made a very difficult day, much easier. Thank you for what you do ❤️

We had to say goodbye to our 19 year old darling cat Feisty. She was old and declining rapidly. My vet recommended Sweet Dreams to me since I knew travelling with Feisty was only going to increase her misery. The team was kind and compassionate, Feisty was ready to go and they helped her along so she no longer had to suffer. I am so grateful they were able to ease her pain. The best decision I ever made by contacting Sweet Dreams when it was time to say goodbye to my Addy. Dr Smith and Rachel were so professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate with this heartbreaking decision and process. Addy not only got to be home, but in my lap as she crossed over the rainbow bridge. I could not imagine saying goodbye to my fur baby in an unfamiliar vet’s office. I HIGHLY recommend Sweet Dreams for anyone forced to make this decision.
I had to use Sweet Dreams service yesterday to put down my best friend of 8 years..my boy Newton... They were really professional in what they were doing. I would like to give Dr.Smith and her assistant a big Thank You for their work and the way they handle my bud.They were honestly amazing.They explained in detail in what they are gonna do and honestly it was a peaceful way for my pal to go!! What a wonderful company with amazing people. They were so understanding and thoughtful and perfect for this really hard decision. They explained the process, what to expect and took care of my Sam perfectly. They have the biggest hearts and I’m so glad I chose them to help me through this process.
