I haven't actually stayed but please ensure that when you book you get the correct date. We booked in April 25, paying a £203 / $450 deposit, in August we asked to change our check in day, we didn't hear anything until November, so we just emailed to cancel as this was ridiculous, that took two weeks to be confirmed. Now in December 2025, with just over 1 week to 2026, I still haven't had my deposit back. I'm sure the accommodation is lovely but their booking system is appalling
Beautifully restored and well-appointed cottage in a fantastic location. The house has everything you might need—from fishing gear to push bikes—and is just a short walk to Palm Cove’s cafés, restaurants, and the beach. The only thing we couldn’t find was a set of kitchen knives, but otherwise, everything was spot on.
Wendy has created a haven fully stocked with every amenity you could imagine from bikes, pool toys, kids books and puzzles, picnic and beach gear, and most of all a clean and cosy beach house vibe. Our family has stayed here multiple times now over winter and intend to return again and again.
First family holiday with bub! I stayed here with my husband and our 3 month old baby late April. We had the most lovely time. The place had absolutely everything you could possibly need, even baby essentials! A beautiful home, very clean and spacious. I would highly recommend Sweet Creek Cottage! Thank you Wendy ❤️
Sweet Creek Cottage was the lovingly restored home of your host Wendy. You relax from the moment you walk through the front door. The 3-bedroom cottage is immaculate, and beautifully styled. Wendy has ensured your needs are fully catered for during your stay from the well-equipped kitchen, the decks front and back to the BBQ and pool area. Forget about the hotels on the Esplanade, one stay at Wendy's cottage will have you coming back for more.
