Beautifully crafted and thoughtfully decorated. The Sweeny hut was a much welcomed relaxing and romantic night away. We personally weren't able to get the pool/spa to work, but got in cold given it was a hot day anyway. We took a few couples activities like a paint and pino set, charcuterie and the like; making the most of being off-grid for the night. Next visit I wouldn't change a thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our off grid stay at Sweeney’s hut. To see the stars at night on three sides & watch the sunrise in the morning was very special. Very comfortable with spectacular views. Highly recommend. Enjoyed a wine on the deck watching the sheep!
Absolutely gorgeous place to visit, it is straight out of a fairytale movie.
Amazing views, hot tub was perfect overlooking the valley, although it took over 3 hours to heat up, as it wasn't on when we arrived. There were a few broken things, like the BBQ nobs, and the only light near the kitchen area, so I couldn't see when preparing food. There was nowhere to eat, except outside, which was freezing at night. We feel that $700 is way too expensive for what you get! Even a bottle of water costs $4. We loved our time here.
