I'm so excited to see they're still working! Our kid had services between age 4-10, and is now thriving, finishing college, working as a programmer, mostly living independently. And when we saw Carmen, we just weren't sure he'd ever live a normal life. But we did the training and therapy, worked hard and it really really paid off.
Our son saw a variety of SLP’s when he was young. The trajectory of his treatment (and life) changed when we were introduced to Maureen Sweeney and her staff. I am a firm believer that speech “intensive” block therapy yields greater results than a single, weekly appointment with a speech therapist. We have had a very positive experience and strongly recommend the team.
My son is 27 and began working with therapists and in small groups at SAA when he was just 8 years old. He has grown into a young adult working with various talented young professionals at their practice over the years.
