My first wellness visit with Dr. Alexandra Styhl was disappointing. It appears that Swedish has adopted practices that prioritize making money over the patient care. It become apparaent, that during a wellness visit, patients are not allowed to discuss existing conditions or express current health concerns because the visit is classified strictly as a preventive “screening” for potential new issues, not for managing ongoing problems. My sister had an excellent experience there as a new patient. The reception was warm. We saw a couple of providers. The care and concern were clear. The in-depth gathering of information was comforting and assuring. Based on our experience so far, I highly recommend this practice!
