Worst medical experience I've had. When I got there, there was no one at the desk, I had to use a phone set up to call the back. I waited 20 min and didn't see a single other person on the entire floor. The seating is ripped and old and the place didn't seem clean. Eventually, someone came to get me and I wasn't greeted with any explanation, just handed a too small gown and told to lock up my things and they would come get me. Their phone is never answered
The lady who answered the phone was not only extremely rude and condescending, she also wasn't familiar with the basic medical terminology. She took joy in telling me it would take longer to make an appointment to get a PET Scan for possible carcinoma because of some technical issues with the order. Don't get me wrong, I do understand the process, but she didn't have to make me feel like an idiot. The staff that performs the testing is always wonderful, it is the staff that answers the phone that are the problem. Treating a patient like they are bothering or ignoring you is not okay. If you do not like your job just quit! It is not a hobby for me to have to travel to your facility and constantly have testing. Leave healthcare, it is more beneficial than making patients feel bad.
You guys need to check who answers your phones... Talk to this girl for 5 minutes and she did everything she could not to help me... Wouldn't tell me availability for scheduling, seem like she was making stuff up ect... Very unprofessional. 5-2-2025
