My husband experienced an aortic dissection on the arch with rupture above the aortic valve. He was bleeding into his chest cavity and experienced cardiac tamponade. He also had multiple pulmonary embolisms as well as several clots to his brain. Miracuously, he survived and is fully functional today, 3 years after the event!
