Dave is a really good guy! Got my personal truck in right away and found the problem super fast. He also does all the work on our company vehicles and does a great job.
Took my 2005 F150 here for new spark plugs, serpentine belt, fuel filter and coil check. Heard a ticking sound after and took it back. I Was told it was a lifter noise. A week or so later the truck was idling rough and lost power. Took it back and was told I had something major going on, possibly a bad lifter or worse. Took the truck to another mechanic and found out the spark plugs were not torqued correctly. Running fine now and no ticking noise. Do not recommend Swede and Dave.
My 79 yr old mother went in upon my reguest to find somebody to check out her 2012 subaru. The dealer she had scheduled was 185 just to analyze the problem. I live 2000 miles from her and suggested she look locally for a decent mechanic. She went to advanced auto parts near swede and Dave's and they recommended she stop there. At this Point they could have taken advantage and charged her several hundred bucks, the honest folks fixed her subaru for a more than fair price and she called me absolutely giddy.
