Swathi Tiffinis is filthy !!! This restaurant is at the bottom of the hygiene scale. It's restrooms and tables are equally filthy and the situation has gone from bad to worse. Today was my last visit since I found a dead roach on one of the tables. This had probably landed from the false ceiling so there must be some infestation in the whole place, including the kitchen. This is one place to avoid if you don't want to get sick.
Hot food .. Andhra style Andhra is a state in India where the food is very tasty, hot and spicy. This restaurant is part of a popular chain in this state. The food used to be very good, but the quality is slowly going down. It is located right next to a popular south indian grocery store, so its usually crowded (cuz the shoppers gotta eat ). I havent been to this place in the last few months, so cant comment on the current quality.
Good, but dirty Pros: Good food, especially if you are looking for a bite. Food at affordable rates. Idly-Vada combo at 5$ is one of the best things you can eat there. Cons: Very dirty sometimes, tables uncleaned, i would give it a sanitary score of 70 on 100. They keep playing only Telugu movies/songs all the time. On the whole if you are looking for some good fast food then would recommend this place.
slowly losing quality The first time I ate their food, I liked it very much. Its authentic Andhra (south Indian) reciepes. But their quality is going downhill. After I had dinner there about 3 months ago, havent felt like going back yet.
