Dr Rao is an excellent endo! She never rushes through our appointments and is very thorough and smart. Type 1 is tricky and she has been wonderful at helping me try new things to help with my insulin resistance. She supports instead of criticizing. Her current staff is awesome and always gets back in a timely manner. She also manages my Hashimotos. I am so thankful I found her and that she is part of my healthcare team!

I had 1 visit with Dr. Rao. She was very professional and kind but after trying to reach her medical staff with questions about medications that she prescribed to me has been terrible. I have left 4 messages over a 7 day period and no one has returned my call. This is very unprofessional as they are a medical office. Any patient calling with questions or concerns about medications prescribed by this doctor should have their call returned within 24. After seeing 3 Endocrinologists in the area with very little knowledge and understanding of Type 1, I am thrilled to say I’ve found my Forever-Endo. Dr. Rao’s youth lends to her likability, but her brain is where it’s at. She understands that for various reasons, every diabetic is different. The complexity of my case didn’t seem to be a task too big for her to handle. I was in & out in 30-45 minutes for my 1st ever appointment.
