Former Patient I went to the Swanton Centre with high hopes and left feeling worse than when I arrived. The biggest issue is staff attitude, lack of empathy, and complete disorganisation. Front-of-house staff were often dismissive and slow to respond. One woman with white curly hair repeatedly ignored patients waiting to be let back onto the ward. Voluntarily admitted myself, stayed for 3 or 4 nights. Staff I dealt with were understanding and helpful, although they were a bit busy if you are patient you will get all the right help. I was put on the right medication and linked in with support after discharge, and I was extremely happy with the food. Overall I was actually happy with my stay contrary to other reviews. Don't be afraid to reach out for help ❤️
