I lived at Swansen Apartments in a studio (before the pandemic) and in a junior one bedroom (after the pandemic) and would 100% recommend Swansen Apartments for anyone looking in Rosslyn. The apartments are fairly nice and independent, but also the management (Mark and Katherine Swansen especially, but the new management company, SANDS Property, has been good as well) is great. Best place to stay in Arlington!! very nice rent. no parking + cat rent fee. (: very accommodating management
I lived at Swansen Apartments for 1 year in 2020 and had a great experience here! The large 1 bedroom is very spacious with nice hardwood floors and updated kitchen and bathroom. Management was always responsive and maintenance was taken care of almost immediately anytime we had a request. Free off street parking, no pet deposit for cats, and great location with two metro stops nearby!
Moved in to Swansen apartments 6 months ago and really am quite pleased. I was a little hesitant honestly because there weren’t that many reviews and some were not that nice. I needed a place that was in my price range and close to the Metro. There are not any extra amenities but they do have free parking. I haven’t needed to call for any maintenance issues but have heard from my neighbors they’re pretty fast.
Affordable, convenient, and responsive management. These three things are very rarely found when it comes to renting in DC and Swansen has all 3. They also have free off-street parking, which is a huge plus.
