I wouldn’t even give it one star, your told to call at 8 I got through at 4 minutes past 8 not greeted with a hello not even asked what the issue is just answered the phone to me and immediately told there are no appointments available I’ve now resorted to sorting me and my 5 year autistic child with private health care, the receptionist are unbelievably rude I cannot fathom how they still have jobs they should be utterly embarrassed by the way they speak to people

Hopeless, my wife has been sick with diarrhea for 10 days, she is 80 years old, and just had a pacemaker fitted, I was told to ring 111, they referred me to a walk in centre, who referred me back to my doctor. Reception told me to ring 111? It's a joke. The wife has been with the practice all her life.

Called exactly at 8am two days running. Took 15 min to answer the call to be told no appointments, and to call back tomorrow. What use is a GP that is unavailable? Would not recommend.

I have never had any issues with Swanpool and yes sometimes you can’t get a Drs appointment on the day of calling, which is like most Drs, but you can usually speak to a clinician, which can be very helpful. You can also book appointments online and they are regularly available, yes you may have to wait but at least you can get one. Can always get through on the phone at any time of day without having to wait ages, unlike some drs. I’ve always found staff to be helpful too and they have some good Drs at this practice
