Dr. Swan has been my doctor for, oh, a decade now, and in that time, he's consistently been kind, supportive, caring but also, always tells you what you need to hear.
Dr. Swan has been my primary care doctor for the past few years. He is kind and understanding. He is also more thorough than any doctor I've had. You don't feel rushed. And he is so knowledgeable! However, he knows when you need to see a specialist and will refer you to one, when necessary.
Dr Swan had been our Dr. for over 30 years. When he transferred to Vancouver Clinic we were told that our insurance wouldn’t be accepted. We were very disappointed. Dr Swan had been an excellent Dr. who spent time with his patients and showed true concern. I wish they would make an exception for his long time patients and let us continue to see him and use our insurance.
Dr. Swan is a very smart investigative Physican. He takes the time to figure out your medical problems. He has improved my quality of life by listening to my symptoms and using the correct course of action. I'm glad I found him.
Dr. Swan always takes the time to inform my wife and me with a detailed explanation of our medical problem and the effects of any medications he prescribes. We never feel rushed. There are times when we are required to wait beyond the appointment time but that is to be expected with a thorough, caring doctor and the needs of patients that have arrived earlier. The staff is courteous and efficient and there are usually PAs available for those immediate problems. Dr. Swan is simply the best
I went in with my mother in law, to help her. He was overly verbose, condescending, and slow. He did not appear to know what to do and therefore was prescribing yet another drug on top of the 15 she already takes. When we got to the pharmacy, the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription due to a drug interaction that would have been dangerous to her health. We never wait less than 1 hour - usually he is running behind 2 hours. He assumes we have nothing better to do than wait all day.
