Went to the service department to ask about my Ford Ranger key, as it only sometimes turns in the ignition. It was suggested that I get a whole new key, and to pay almost $400 for it. Absolutely no other options were mentioned. Went to Kerang Ford, all options were considered and spoken about, and I ended up getting the issue fixed and only spent $30.
