I’ve been eating here for years and always had a good experience. I’ve been there 3 times in the last month and it’s been horrible. The food has been over cooked to the point of it being inedible. The fries tonight were hard, extremely greasy and looked like they had been cooked several times to reheat. It’s too expensive to eat here and get food like this.
The food was absolutely terrible yuck!!!! Never thought I would be writing this. Emma the manager never offered to make it right.
Swamps John's serves, if not the best, equally the best catfish in the Shoals area. The value for what you get is usually better than its competition even though it's oftentimes not as crowded. Swamp Jones is always my first pick for catfish filets in the Shoals area and I've never been disappointed as everything is served up hot and fresh and always tasty.
