Beware We purchased a brand new SCT16 in April 2024 and it has fallen to pieces. Many major manufacturing failures. The design and build quality of this van is pitiful. Major water leaks, broken roof, window fell out, kitchen slide broken and cannot be used. No remorse shown by swag. Our calls and emails are now being ignored by the owner and head of warranty about getting these major issues fixed. Think very carefully before purchasing one of these vans.
This company cannot be trusted. Terrible customer service. Poor quality vans.
From time of ordering with SA Camper Trailers (Swag dealer in SA) through to hand over, and for the last 15 months of ownership our SCT16 hard top bunk model, as well as all our follow up interactions (including a couple of warrenty items) with the team at Swag have been a pleasure. We have taken our Swag through SA, NT and WA so far with 14000kms under her belt and she has performed beautifully for a van at this price point. We purchased our swag SCT16 7 months ago. We have lived in it full-time for the last four months with our kids. We have had an enormous list of things go wrong with the from solar panels not working, roof metal shavings everywhere, silicone smeared all over the place, water leaks, broken roof, broken awning, tables breaking, accessories falling off, air conditioner coming broken, the list goes on… Mostly alarmingly, the canvas is not flush with the roof of the van, so water leaks in in severe weather (which they have claimed... read more
