Swad is one of the very few Indian restaurants in the Bay Area I can tolerate and genuinely love. Unlike most places that drown their curries in heavy cream, excessive masala, and grease, Swad strikes the perfect balance of flavor without giving you acid reflux afterward. The lunch buffet is spotlessly clean, the salads taste prepped fresh that morning, and every dish feels prepared with real intention. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended
I am from Pakistan I recommend 100% this place to all my family and friends they serve Very Good North Indian Food all the dishes are delicious and very clean place . Noor was serving us Great experience.
Found this place on Reddit after searching up “best Indian lunch buffet in east bay” and it exceeded expectations! As someone who’s always jealous of the Indian food options in South Bay, I’m so grateful that I now have a go to option in the east bay! Variety of food was perfect, each dish was flavorful, the environment and service was relaxed, and the highlight was the naan (best naan I’ve ever had)! It’s only $20 as well!! I don’t think some of the past negative reviews are relevant anymore and I’ll certainly be back.

If ur from South India then I suggest you find some other place to eat. This place got the basic chicken Tikka masala wrong, they are using tomato puree as a base which made throw away the dish. The bread is amazing though
