Up until 3 years ago I would get my glasses at America's best, and never had a problem. Decided to come here because it was more convenient, or so I thought. Every pair of glasses I got had nothing but problems, either I felt like I was looking through fishbowl or they would throw my balance off. Everytime I was told that I just needed to get used to them. Plus I was charged for extras that I didn't want or asked for. Always have a positive experience here. Staff is very helpful and friendly
They managed to get me in same day. That was great because usually you have to wait forever. They had a decent number of glasses to choose from. And they were knowledgeable enough to know which glasses frames would hold my higher prescription without breaking. They even help me pick out my glasses to get a second opinion (a lot of businesses won't give their opinion because they are afraid of offending or something). I was a “walk in” customer just on a whim, the staff helped me get my eye glasses script faxed over. They figured out my insurance coverage and had me pick out my frames. In just a few days, the texted me to pick up my new glasses. When I went in it was quite busy, but they helped me right away. Fitted my glasses and I was on my way. They were happy, professional, knowledgeable, courteous and quick. They made the task of getting glasses enjoyable.
My wife and I were first time customers on Saturday and both had an eye exam which was great and each of us ordered a pair of glasses. With insurance the price seemed kind of high compared to past experiences. Come to find out after we got home and looked at our receipt they added on an insurance plan, UV coating for the front and back of the lenses that totaled over $130.00. This was never explained to us or even asked if we wanted to add these options on. This is not a good business practice to try and deceive a customer!!... read more
