They discriminate based on age. They stated that an almost 10 year old is NOT mature enough for an eye exam and turned the patient away when they were checking in. The patient waited weeks for an appt and needed glasses desperately as theirs were broken. SVS discriminates based on age.
Dr. Hoff is very enthusiastic and clearly cares about her patients. Other eye doctors were boring and often left me lost, but she kept my attention easily with her funny yet professional personality.
Scheduled an appointment and when I went in was told that doctor doesn't take meridan and the doctor that does take that insurance is booked for over a month. I went elsewhere last time I needed glasses cause the appointment time was 7 months out. Looks like I'll have to find some place that takes this insurance as this place is a joke. EDIT: the family medical center up on north main next to the Taco Bell has a optometrist and she takes Meridian. I wish I could give zero stars to this place. For starters I made my appt almost 3 weeks ago. Yesterday at noon i contacted them to make sure they took my insurance and that my appt was still on. The rep that I talked to assured me that they took my insurance and that my appt will be on time the next day . Well big suprise I was taking a shower this morning when i saw a voice message from svs on my phone . It stated that my appt was cancled because my insurance would not covermy appt it till later in the month. This a mere 2... read more
