Took my VW Golf R in for a general service and asked that the brake rotors be looked at as they were shuddering. I was told it was my tyres (which it obviously wasn’t), and I’ve since got new tyres and the issue still persists. Also discussed changing out the spark plugs, which I agreed to. End of the day came around and I hadn’t heard anything, so I left work around 5pm and headed there to pick up my car. Wow! I've had a grinding whine in my car for ages. I've been listening to it get worse over the last 18 months and no-one else could hear it! A couple of different mechanics tried unsuccessfully. My husband was convinced it was just me. Took Garath for a drive this morning and he not only heard the noise, he diagnosed it within 15 minutes! Gotta love people who know motors well enough to know what they're listening to. Cannot thank these guys enough!
Great service. Gareth was able to fix the issue at short notice. He knew what was wrong before he saw the vehicle and ordered the part in advance.
