I too shared in the frustration of getting in to see a doctor. I felt as the system was rigged so that it was only practical to go in only for my annual physical. Today my first call was to the nurse for tele-medicine. (I'm still getting use to that.) To my surprise she booked me for an appointment within the hour. I learned during my visit that there were two staff members working, dedicated to same day appointments.
A warning to anyone looking to get PT at the Northshire Campus...They charge over $500 for a 15 minute session and think its perfectly normal when everyone else in the area charges between $60-$140/hour.
Dr Schwartz is my primary physician, and I highly recommend him. His diagnosis is excellent and he will always listen to his patients and communicate well with them.
Have been a patient here with the same doctor for over 25 years. The quality of care has declined. Unhelpful front desk personnel, one of whom I got so frustrated with on the phone one day I regretfully ended up cursing out. The director of the facility did call me and apologized to me. Now as well there is a constrained type of care from my doctor since a number of years past (Medicare may be the problem?) When I moved my parents here 2 years ago from Florida I chose Northshire as their primary care. Both had serious health issues that needed to be addressed long term. I cannot express enough how much SVMC and especially Northshire has done for them both. The Nurses and Doctors are compassionate, knowledgeable, and my Parents conditions are much improved due to the care that they are receiving. Thank You so much for the work that you do!
