The only problem I've had with suzies zoo is that every time I go in there dude recommends a different basking bulb for my beardie and they never last long. A month maybe. Other than that I love them. They Specail ordered my fatman for me.
I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and quality of the store. The animals were well treated and I plan on giving them my continued business.
What do u expect that are animals thay are going to smell omg stop putting bad reviews I am 14 and I am smarter than all of y'all people yall are rude and don't care about anything y'all make me sick to think you will put something that mean upp I don't get y people will say anything if it isn't nice
To the few negative comments below, you can not expect to have that many animals in one place and not have a musty odor. Having one or 2 in a house will not smell but when you factor in ferrets, rats, reptiles, etc they will have an odor no matter how many times you clean. I went into suzies zoo this afternoon & turned around & walked right back out! The smell is horrible. Those poor animals in there having to smell a stinch like amonia 24/7 from not properly cleaning cages. I wish I had the money to buy all those animals. That place should be SHUT DOWN! I think animal control should be called.......
Ewww! The smell was disgusting! Smelled like ammonia and dirty bedding. The chinchillas there had no hiding places or wood to chew an no hay either. A poor ferret who had no toys and looked so lonely and bored. Too many pet rats and over bred females all kept in crowded tanks with no toys or anything to chew. Also bought 2 frozen rats for my sons snake. The rats looked dirty,bloody, and not well kept and way too expensive. I refused to give them to the snakes. Suzie's Zoo is amazing. I have been going there for two years. I have bought multiple fish there and it is always my place for fishy emergencies. There is one guy who is almost always there and can answer all my questions. They never push unnecessary products and so far they're all healthy!
I have been trying to call this store since 12:00. I know someone is on the phone because it goes straight to voicemail. It is now 1:52, and still going to voicemail. Is anyone there working or talking on the phone.
Suzie's zoo is an absolutely wonderful business. I am a student of Longwood University with a ten gallon fish tank. Anytime I have questions or concerns they are there. If I need anything at all for my pets they are there to help. The people at Suzie's zoo are truly good people with the best of intentions.
