My wife received treatment, I was in the recovery room and I liked how the Doctor treated her, so I scheduled my procedure as well with the same doctor. However, I attempted 4 times prior to the procedure to receive the written instructions, never received them, and tried 4 times to obtain the pre-approval required by insurance. Staff was not willng to help, insurance specialist not willing to speak with me and had to cancel and find another doctor.
I've seen Dr. Skoog twice and remain highly impressed with her and the organization. The only problem was coordination with documents forwarded from other medical offices but those reports were located and referenced for the Dr. I'd recommend Dr. Skoog without reservation. She genuinely cares about her patients.
I attempted to start with Dr Skoog as a new patient based on a referral from my PCP. After waiting on hold twice (over 30 minutes each time); I finally spoke with scheduling. I spent 20 minutes setting up an account and giving them all my info - only to find out that the Doctor had NO availability within the next 3 months. Total waste of my time and terrible service. If patients are sick and looking for a specialist, you just can't treat them like this.
She is a good listener. Her experience is highly rated. Makes everyone very comfortable.
I can't believe she asked me if I thought about just having diarrhea, it had been 5 years. I have had enough and enough of her!
Had my 1st colonoscopy done by Dr. Skoog a couple weeks ago. Was very impressed with Doctor Skoog and her staff. Everyone was very professional, efficient and the procedure was completed "right on time" (how often does that happen) ! Highly recommend Dr. Skoog.
