My mom wanted to get her nails done at the salon since it was close to home today and had good reviews, but the nail technician refused to do her nails because of her skin color. The technician was extremely rude/ racist and as people of color, it is absolutely devastating to be treated like this. She came home really upset, stating all she wanted was a manicure and pedicure, not to be treated this way.
