The lab at the sutter locations suck. Had to go back THREE TIMES for them to draw the right lab. Filed s complaint and no reply called and a month later received a generic reply stating they were sorry but no indication of correcting the lab problems. Unfortunately this is the insurance my employment provides.
The only real problem I have with Sutter is that they don't have enough BEDS , and for a hospital that for me is not a good thing. My husband was there had very good care no problems, as for me when I was there, they had no beds and I had to go to Sonoma West in Sabastopol. Not happy at all for that.
my husband had a outpatient surgery ,the people there were all nice to us.

Awful, snotty little blonde girl at the check in desk - rude, acted like she couldn't be bothered. My dad had surgery to remove a baseball sized thoracic cyst yesterday. Doctors, nurses and all other staff have been great so far.

I sat in the ER for 5 hours total after I fell down a cement staircase outside a restaurant Saturday Sept 17. My flip flop shoe was full of blood and I was in pain. Waited for 2 hours then went in for a quick 10 min X-ray then back out in the waiting room for 2+ hours. Was finally called in only to sit in a semi private chair/bed and waited for another 1.5 hours. After complaining 3 separate times to a nurse about not being tended to I got to sit another 30 mins. I would never recommend any woman to labor at Sutter. They are like butchers. If your baby doesn't come on their liability time scale they pressure you into a c-section. Right know a woman who is being pressured into a c-section even though her baby's heart rate is fine and she is not past due. Plus it is her second pregnancy and her first was all natural no problem a birthing center. I had a c-section there, although they claim it was my choice I felt completely forced into it.
