I've been a patient at Sutter Medical in Fairfield and Vacaville for THIRTY-EIGHT YEARS! I had the same family medicine doctor for THIRTY-TWO years. I got along great with Dr. Daniel Ferrick and he was empathetic. Unfortunately, he retired in February 2018. I then got an internal medicine doctor, but it took 3 months to get an appt. I had to get a blood panel done and this is where I went. Unfortunately, the blood in one of the vials coagulated and I had to get my blood drawn again. I was told that was rare, but it does happen sometimes. Anyway, the people are friendly enough and I got done what I needed to get done. I just wish I didn't have to get poked the extra time, but what can you do?

I have been using the location since summer 2015 mostly to my satisfaction. The two minor complaints I have is (1)the fact that they cannot seem to hold young female pediatric doctors very long before they leave for a competing health system (maybe better pay elsewhere?) and (2)as a Blue Shield member, Sutter Health does not check for you if something is covered by Blue Shield in advance, they leave that up to the Blue Shield member exclusively to research and bill you aggressively.
