Thats all I really have to say about this kind of problem. Mice got in to my unit and crapped all over my couch and other furnishing. The owner said "sorry". Won't help me out guess its my loss. Also if it happens to you don't expect him to do anything to help you either. I just wanted him to pay to have my couch cleaned.
