For years they've been a outstanding service provider comp. Even since chaging locations... I'd send even my family to this store..
Always friendly. Take time to help you. Love the garden center. Not the best selection, but great prices.
The clerk was very helpful with my special order countertop and did not make me feel unknowledgeable in my search for the right material.
Just moved in down the street from Sutherlands. Given the kind of work I do for a living and for fun, I spend a lot of time/money in hardware stores. My first experience in the store was frustrating as I couldn't find anyone to help me. Chalking up the experience as possibly a fluke, I returned for two consecutive days to similar results. When I finally did find an employee, they were rude and unhelpful. The cashier did not greet me or really speak to me at all. This store is so inadequate. Start with the staff, they do not want to help you, and when you ask for help they are clueless, press on for more help they say they don't carry the item... then you look yourself and find it. I have had more then one experience with this being the outcome, then on my last visit to return an item that was faulty(go figure) a lady came to the service desk and said "does anyone know where anything is in this store"? That sums up Sutherland's, terrible attitude and terrible service. If I can't find... read more
