Such an amazing property and will definitely be back! We had a blast and the kids absolutely loved the animal feeding. So much to do on the property for adults and children that you won’t need to leave for the duration of the stay. We had a large group of family stay and there was plenty of room for everyone! Sutherland Downs Retreat is the perfect family getaway. Switch off and just relax and enjoy the view and fresh air and make forever memories. Lots of family activities with the pool, animal feeding, games room with so many games to play, trampoline, paddock golf and more. Sutherland Downs Retreat exceeded all expectations and gave us the most memorable Father and Son getaway we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect mix of comfort, adventure, and relaxation. Great experience all round with so much fun to be had with all the games room activities on hand as well as lots of relaxing in the beautiful scenery and spa. Our group found it perfect to celebrate a mile-stone birthday and be close to excellent surf beaches and come back to a cosy home fire, games and large kitchen to cook up a feast. Then wake up in the morning to views and animals. Plenty of space for us all, we even had a pilates session in the studio.

Sutherland Downs Retreat is an absolute gem! Tucked away in the peaceful countryside, it’s the perfect spot to unwind. The rooms are beautifully designed—super cozy and inviting, making it feel like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly warm and attentive, making the stay even better.
