Very helpful . I had normal appointment. Waiting time was short and staff kind and caring
There are staff here who genuinely care and are lovely. Unfortunately, the systems in place need a complete overhaul. I visited the eye hospital multiple times for serious eye pressure issues. No clinic letters were produced so I'm now unable to get the prescription I need. The waitlist for the 15 minute surgery is over a year. I'M GOING TO LOSE MY VISION WAITING.
Outstanding thorough service and wonderful staff, I was diagnosed and treated within half an hour, can't praise these kind people enough 😀
Great specialist hospital. Polite and friendly staff who take good care of you. Busy, can take a while to be seen but that's the nature of this hospital, they help a lot of people and do a great job. Free NHS Wi-Fi, toilets, lifts, reception, big waiting areas with lots of seating. Parking a challenge around the hospital - on street parking with the Pay-as-you-go App. A historical and original building located opposite the new Royal Sussex County Hospital.
I've been regularly visiting this hospital for close to 4 years now due to severe eye pressure issues. The staff are fantastic, always welcoming and genuinely caring. I've spoken with an array of technicians, doctors, nurses, etc and they truly are the heart of the hospital. If you're visiting A&E, be prepared to be waiting for hours however this is just the state of the NHS since the pandemic and is nothing different to any other A&E.
