This was my first purchase at the San Carlos location. Based on previous reviews my expectations were high. I was very disappointed with the four cupcakes I purchased for my son’s birthday. The flavors were: Coconut, Lemon, Strawberry & Red Velvet. It was sad that three of the four cupcakes were vanilla and it was only the frosting that was flavored. I can't say enough good things about the San Carlos location of this place! The staff is always so friendly and happy to help. I usually ask them to cut my cupcake in half so my kids don't get too much sugar, and they do it happily. (That's not the experience I've had in Menlo Park.) I ordered a gender reveal cake the decoration was very nice but the cake it’s self tasted very bad very sugary and dry we couldn’t eat a bite of it and the price was veeery high compared with the quality I was very disappointed and will never order from this place again :(
