Waitress from hell First off I just want to say that the sushi rolls are really delicious, the food isn't why I am giving this low rating review. Its the repeatedly bad service, and seems to be only one person every time. When we first order the waitress who I also think is the manager did not know what the in roll that we order. which was a problem because what if I was allergic to one of the ingredient in the dish. She should have at lease asked the chefs but instead said the there was a lot of thing that looked the same. ... read more

Best place I agree with the rest. My wife and I always go here. If you're here for lunch, get the all you can eat sushi for $15. It's worth it if you love to eat sushi. Fish is always fresh and the chefs are awesome. They love to give huge chunks of sashimi. Also, beer is $1-$1.50 on tap always: Budweiser, Bud Light, Kirin. Best place, best price, best quality. *Oh by the way, you might want to double check your bill every once in a while. PROS: Sushi, Portions, Chefs, Beer on tap CONS: Service sometimes slow, make mistakes ... read more

Yummy and Fun We go to Sushi Ya whenever we are in the mood for sushi. The atmosphere is fun and cozy and the specialty rolls don't dissapoint. If your really hungry the "all you can eat" menu does not dissapoint. We always get the heart attack and anything with salmon. Quality fish at a good price

cheap prices, very rude sushi chef Prices are cheap, quality is good but the all you can eat menu is limited. Went there for lunch with my coworkers and decided not to get the all you can eat special so that I could have more flexibility in ordering. Asked the sushi chef if he could make me a couple of very basic items that I never have a problem getting at other sushi bars, nothing elaborate, but the sushi chef said they're too busy and couldn't make those items. I assumed that meant that since it was the lunch crowd they c... read more

Hands down, the best sushi I have ever had! Good sushi is hard to find. Sushi-ya prepares it right with the freshest fish I have ever tasted. Anything you order is well-prepared. The sushi chefs are friendly, and they are really creative with their rolls. PROS: Fresh fish, Lots of fish, Good prices, Friendly people CONS: None

Excellent Sushi! This place has VERY fresh fish and an all-you-can eat menu (made to order). The sushi chefs are very nice and the prices are great. Try the mussels, heart attack, and Bacardi rolls! PROS: Fresh Fish, Good Prices CONS: Small dining area (can get a little crowded at times)

Sushi Killa I love this place the drinks are cheap and the fish is fresh the chefs are really great and want to please Jason and Paul they take care and they keep pushing the sushi on you. If you are a big eater I would advise you sit on the bar, sitting on the tables require a longer wait for service and there is only one waitress. My advise to avoid crowds is to go when they first open for lunch or dinner, I like to do lunch because it is cheaper with the exact same menu. I have tried everything on the menu and would recom... read more

My NEW favorite sushi place! I didn't know what to expect because I read a bunch of mixed reviews previous to actually trying the food here, but WOW! My favorite sushi bar USE to be Kiku Sushi in Monrovia but I think this place tops it! It's small and the setting isn't what you would call "aesthetically pleasing" but it's fine. I didn't mind it, but I know some people need that, so I thought I'd just mention it. The first specialty roll we tried was the "Ichiban" roll! DELICIOUS! I highly recommend the Ichiban roll, Golden P... read more

Awesome sushi Sushiya is a fun and cozy place to have sushi. My fiance and I go at least twice a week, and more if we can :) the prices are the best I know of and the quality is even better. Even when there is a line, it is worth the wait! If you want a fun place to drink alot of sake and eat AWESOME sushi try Sushiya. I recomend the golden philly roll and the monkey brains. (no they aren't really monkey brains) :)
