We have been customers for years and have yet to be disappointed!
We have lived in the neighborhood for about 6 years and always loved Sushi Totoro. Sadly this most recent visit will be our last. I am unsure if the owners changed because the whole atmosphere was completely different. Also the AYCE price went up while the quality of the food went down.
My wife and I have been regulars here since a friend showed us. We recently moved to the area and decided to enjoy a night back at Sushi Totoro. Overall nothing was bad until end. One of the chefs was eating behind the sushi make table while we were waiting for our check. I probably wouldn't even bat an eye if the server hadn't charged for the 3 single pieces left out of 5 rolls. 1 of the 3 fell on the ground and I was responsible enough to pick it up. Hmm it used to be good. But they raised the price so much and I had come here a lot before the owners were switched. And obviously that made a huge difference. When the owners switched there was a difference in quality and also compared to other places. Also for kids, the age for AYCE sushi had been like 9-10, but lowered to 8 so the business can profit out of the fact kids can’t eat much. Since the owner is changed, this place has gone down badly. The “tuna” looked pale, dry and had a weird sour taste. I asked the server what that fish is. Shocked to find out that is called “tuna”.. she took it away. I should’ve taken photo of the “tuna”. I feel sick now . Please stay away.
