Thai Star Sushi is outstanding. Excellent food and sushi. Staff is always friendly. Food is consistent and delicious. Prices are reasonable especially considering their location. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
Don't come in and expect them to uphold that 4star rating. It was one of the most terrible services I've ever received, all of our food was mediocre at best. The waitress didn't service at all knowing she'd get a automatic 18% tip. The sushi was not good, seaweed was bad, and the sashimi had a weird texture to it I've gone to multiple sushi spots and never encountered this problem with fish. Cmon it's the most safery hazard thing Make sure to get it right. Cheap ingredients and couldn't even save it with good spices.
Food is incredible. Sashimi is top notch quality and all the food is fresh. Service can be hit or miss.
We had Penang Curry, edamame and the chicken satay. We also had a bottle of wine. The food was okay but there was only one server so it took a while to get our food. The chicken satay was a little overcooked and dry.
