We went as a group of four Omakase first-timers and were so glad that we did. The ambiance is subdued modern and not so traditional as to feel intimidating. Everyone—from the chef to the sommelier to the rest of the staff—was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We could whisper and laugh quietly, and take photos throughout the meal which was perfect for us. The food was outstanding.
