09/2025 Update: Time and time again, Kiwami always hits it's mark. We came for a birthday celebration of around 10 people, reservation-placed and service never skipped a beat. See you soon! Original Review: Incredible food and even better service. Miso soup with clams, sautéed mushroom salad, chirashi bowl, oysters on the half shell and any specialty roll, always good when I come. Do yourself a favor and try everything.
The food was IMPECCABLE. We lucked out to drop in during happy hour and accidentally gorged ourselves. The yuzu asparagus is perfection. Not to mention our lovely server, who was kind and gracious making it a top-notch experience.
2 weeks ago I ordered delivery. 3/4 of the rolls were vegetarian, and none of them were supposed to have roe in/on them. When I got my order several of the items had small pieces of roe near the knife cuts in the rolls, like a clean knife wasn't used on my food. Okay, it's a sushi spot, these things happen. We came to eat at Kiwami and have sashimi, karage. It was delicious. Greg, at the sushi bar was very nice and courteous. Excellent customer service!
