Hayakawa provides fine omakase with a warm personal touch. They bring us not only outstanding Japanese food, but also authentic Japanese dining culture (e.g., lifting bowls, oshibori). Chef Hayakawa himself is very sociable. He even helps us take photos on his own initiative :) Hayakawa also offers specially curated sake that is truly exceptional and pairs well with the food. Having been to many omakase restaurants, I wouldn’t really recommend this one. The dinner course had only 16 courses, which felt very underwhelming for the price. Considering both the number of courses and the overall menu, it was very overpriced. The chef was incredibly kind and welcoming, but based on the food alone, I can’t recommend this restaurant.
Best meal I’ve ever had! Staff was warm, food delicious, and drinks fantastic. Chef & sommelier delightful. Would 1000% recommend if you’re into omakase.
This one of a kind dining experience deserves 10 stars! Chef/Owner Haya is so entertaining and you can see his passion immediately. I felt like I was at a spa that’s how relaxing and pampering it was. Congratulations on 3 Michelin awards in a row! I will be back.
