Update review (8/21/26): Try their curry here, genuinely one of the best curries I've ever had. Jenny is also one of the best waitresses, she will take care of you! Staff and restaurant are great. While the food at a moderate price. It is plated beautifully and portions are generous. I love thier sushi and rice bowl offerings. The one thing I would stay away from is the Teriyaki. The sauce is heavy in garlic and I found it overpowering. Don't get me wrong the plate was beautiful, thr chicken I got was tender, and came with a delicious miso soup. Just garlic was over top.
Great sushi and great ambiance. However, service can be a little spotty. Imagine being ready to eat but no chopsticks. Had to remind our waiter that our orders includes miso soup. Flagging a waiter can be challenging.
Excellent Japanese food at reasonable prices with very generous portion sizes. I've left Sushi Hiro extremely satisfied every time I've decided to visit. Their bento specifically is an exceptional value in price and quality compared to the bento boxes available at many other similar establishments in the area. I've come here several times this year and each time, I question why the restaurant isn't more populated.
