Build a bowl and you will never be upset! Everything is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is incredibly talented!
My favorite sushi place. Have really good customization on their bowls and handroll so it's great as someone who tends to be picky. They also have a good list of rolls plus 1-3 specials per day they put on their whiteboard. Usually has 2 people working so might be slow for big groups but everything comes out beautifully. Fish is good quality and the salmon in the bowls is nicely thick.

I come to Hilo for work from mainland and I've always wanted to try this place. I'm just angry that I haven't come here sooner. Bowls are amazing and you get so much for $15. You can eat indoors at the ice cream shop attached to it (Chillville). Separate review because that was awesome in itself. Don't skip a bowl while in Hilo. We didn't take pictures because we just demolished our bowls too quickly. Enjoy!
