I ordered salmon sashimi and eel nigiri aka the sushi. The food was fresh and excellent which is why I gave 3 stars. The server was discourteous, inattentive, and looked sloppy. She did not get us with even a hello. My guest took a while to catch on that she was being rude. Who knows why but definitely not worth a second visit. Take your money elsewhere. Ambience is good.. and service is very good. But but.. sushi gen is failing to provide the quality food it used to. The chicken fried and egg fried rice are so dry that you need soda to gulp it down. The yellow tail sashimi was still having sliver of skin on it. The scallops were overcooked… again.. what used to be a decent restaurant is failing to deliver
I love the food here. They have the best sushi in the area.
Grabbed to go orders for my 9 year old son. He came in with me and loved the atmosphere. Food was delicious!
