We love Sushi Gen. It's just down the road for us. The sushi is consistently good and the service is great.

I’ve heard nothing but good things about Sushi Gen since I arrived in Shreveport, and my friends and I were excited to finally try it after the restaurant reopened. When we arrived, we were probably one of two groups in the restaurant and service had been exceptional. Our waitress had started off wonderful, but as more parties started to show up, there was a definite switch in her demeanor. Food is good, but the atmosphere is worse since the refurbs. 7 TVs, mostly news, is a big negative. Less inclined to eat here since. Bad sports bar vibe
