Read reviews and this seemed like the place to go for sushi in the area. We were expecting authentic sushi. We did not get it. Staff is Korean - not Japanese. Anyone can make sushi Japanese style if they want to, but this it not what happens here. Fish was not fresh. Tempura is flavorless and caked on. Gyoza also flavorless. Sauces overly sweet and not as ordered. We would never go back here.
I’ve visited this place a few times for pickup orders, and unfortunately, my experiences haven’t been pleasant. One of the employees (an Asian woman with short hair) has consistently come across as quite rude and unwelcoming. Customer service really matters, and this has been disappointing. I completely understand that restaurants get busy, and delays can happen. However, I’ve had to wait 15–30 minutes past the promised pickup time without any communication or update.
